Half life? - half life how to ommit cd key
The half-life of radioactive decay of the C-14 is 5730 years.
How long does it take up to 30% of the C-14 carbon atoms in a sample of the C-14 to decay?
When a sample of C-14 initially contains 1.8 mmol of C-14, is the number of mmol after 2250 years? (mmol)

Regards,
The amount the rest of the original sample t Ao is spent after the time given by A = Aoe ^ (-kt)
t1 / 2 = 5.730 years
Decay constant k = ln 2 / 5730
where 30% fell to 70% remains
.7 = E (^-kt)
ln (0.7) =- kt
t = ln (0.7) * 5730/ln2
t = 2948 years of decline 30%
A = 1.8 * e ^ (-k * 2250)
A 1.8 = 0.7617 *
A = 1.37 mmol remain after 2250 years
